DIP (Digital Identifier for Peer-review) basically focuses on peer-review materials. DIP easily detect the data in the publisher giant database. The Identifier is designed with prefixes.

DIP work with Journal Articles, Thesis, Book, Book chapters.

Example:
The DIP number for the book = 18.10.9390937949 (18 = DIP main base code, 10 = Published code, and 9390937949 is book code.if the book’s ISBN number 978-93-90937-94-3 then this code created)

The DIP number for the book chapters = 18.10.9390937949.001 (18 = DIP main base code, 10 = Published code, 9390937949 is book code, and 001 = Book chapter code)

For Journal article: 18.01.212.20210902 (18 = DIP main base code, 01 = Journal code, 212 = Published Article code, 20210902 = Publication year, Volume number and Issue number code)
